About PixPrep
Built out of a simple, repeated need.
PixPrep started as a small internal tool to handle the repetitive parts of preparing images for blog posts — stripping metadata, compressing down to a size limit, and converting formats — without relying on desktop software or uploading photos to random third-party sites.
It's built to run entirely client-side: no accounts, no image uploads, no tracking of the images themselves. The goal is to keep the workflow fast and private for anyone publishing content regularly.
More single-purpose tools will be added over time as new repetitive tasks come up — you'll find them listed in the sidebar as they're released.
