Is PixPrep free to use?
Yes. All tools are free, with no account or sign-up required.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device.
Which image formats are supported?
You can upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP images, and convert between any of the three on output.
Will compressing my image reduce visible quality?
Some quality loss is expected with any compression, especially at very small target sizes. PixPrep reduces quality gradually and only shrinks image dimensions if needed, to keep results looking as close to the original as possible.
Does removing EXIF data affect image quality?
No. Metadata is separate from the visual pixel data, so stripping it doesn't change how the image looks.
Can I process multiple images at once?
Yes, every tool supports drag-and-drop or selecting multiple files, and you can download everything together as a .zip.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes, all tools are responsive and work in mobile browsers.
