Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Overview
PixPrep ("we," "our," or "us") provides free, browser-based image tools for bloggers and content creators. This policy explains what information is, and isn't, collected when you use pixprep.online.
Your images are never uploaded
Every tool on PixPrep — EXIF removal, compression, format conversion, and background removal — runs entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. Your images are read, processed, and written back to your device locally; at no point are they transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate. This is a core design principle of the site, not just a policy statement.
Information we collect
We may collect limited, non-identifying technical information to keep the site running smoothly, such as approximate page views and general browser/device type through privacy-respecting analytics. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect names, emails, or other personal details unless you voluntarily provide them by contacting us directly.
Cookies
PixPrep uses minimal cookies, limited to basic site functionality and, where enabled, aggregate analytics. No cookies are used to build advertising profiles. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the tools.
Third-party services
Some page assets — fonts, JavaScript libraries, and the AI model used by the Background Remover tool — are loaded from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). These providers may log standard request metadata, such as IP address, independently of PixPrep, under their own privacy practices.
Data retention
Since images are never transmitted to our servers, we have nothing to retain or delete on your behalf. Any analytics data collected is retained only in aggregate, non-identifying form.
Children's privacy
PixPrep is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding any personal data we hold about you (for example, under GDPR or CCPA). Since we collect minimal personal data by design, most requests will simply confirm that no such data exists. To make a request, use the contact details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
